According to Steve Stammers in the Mirror this morning, Arsene Wenger is convinced that he will find a compromise with Samir Nasri and his agent this week, as they are locked in contract talks. It will be a fantastic boost to the Gunners and the fans if Wenger is successful in keeping the 23 year-old Frenchman at the Emirates.
But he also reckons that Wenger has given up on trying to keep Fabregas from joining Barcelona, and he will let the Spaniard leave if Barcelona compromise on a £40m transfer fee...
